A cheesy, sleasy abuse of the Power of the Press.

By now we've all heard that early Saturday morning, Kansas City Chiefs player Jovan Belcher committed an tragic and extreme act of domestic violence killing his girlfriend and then committing suicide in front of the team's head coach and GM at the team practice facility.

During last night's Cowboys - Eagles game halftime show, NBC commentator Bob Costas was making comment on the tragedy. Simply because he had the floor and there wasn't anything anyone could do to stop him, Costas decided to run his mouth and abandon any hint of objective sportscasting about the tragedy. In short, he gave a 90-second rant supporting his views advocating gun control.

The media in this country has been declining more and more every year into a cesspool of corruption. It demonstrates daily how sold out it is to the leftwing agenda. But, Costas' cheap stunt was a complete abuse of the "Power of the Press" in that not only did it sell out any objectivity in reporting or commenting on the tragedy, but it was a completely sleazy, opportunistic way for him to editorialize his own off-point opinions down the viewers' throats. That is to say nothing of how very illogical and uninformed his views obviously are on the topic.

NBC should give this clown his walking papers just like has happened to other football broadcast celebrities like Rush Limbaugh and Hank Williams, Jr. Limbaugh was a first-year commentator on Monday Night Football and said out a black quarterback was getting an unfair pass (pardon the pun) for sloppy play just because of his skin color. Boom! Limbaugh was gone.Hank Jr likened Barack Hussein Obama's first 4 years as POTUS to being similar to how Hitler ran Nazi Germany. Boom! Hank Jr's theme song for MNF was off the air for good.

What's good for the goose should be good for the gander and Costas's sleazy, inappropriate editorializing about gun control should buy him a one way walking ticket to the unemployment line too.
