This ain't your great grandpa's USA....

Here it is, the day after the 75^th anniversary of the Japan’s attack on the United States at Pearl Harbor. You may remember that that attack on the “day that will live in infamy” led to America’s entry into World War Two.

Sadly, school kids these days are taught disgustingly little about World War Two in general and particularly about December 7, 1941. As such, they don’t really know why American president Franklin Delano Roosevelt referred to it as a forever “infamous” date on the calendar.

I would wager that most American adults under the age of 30 – unless they’d happen to be history buffs - are equally as uneducated about such “ancient history.” And, as a result, they probably have little to no idea what Pearl Harbor Day is about and have little interest in learning it.

Just as tragically, today’s “United” States of America is no more capable of fighting a War like the Second World War than it is for successfully colonizing the planet Neptune.

The USA of 1941 quickly abandoned its isolationist follies, rallied around the flag (“Old Glory”), sacrificed on every front , the home front especially – rationing tires (rubber), gasoline, wiring and other copper, food and staples to make food (flour, etc) - all to further America’s War effort.

Able-bodied men were whisked off into military service and then off to the War. Able-bodied women stepped into factories, etc to fill their shoes. Men too old for military service filled Defense jobs right alongside the women.

Heck, female professional baseball started up to replace men’s pro ball because almost all the male players were now off in military uniforms instead of their baseball uniforms. (Remember the Tom Hanks – Gina Davis movie “A League of Their Own?”)

But…today’s “U” S of A would have to debate the morality of retaliating militarily to a sneak attack like Pearl Harbor for a decade or so. Then another decade of lawsuits would be filed by the ACLU claiming violations of civil rights committed by rationing gas and tires and being limited to only so many miles of driving your car each week (to/from work mostly), “all for the War effort.”

And today, patriotism and rallying around the flag wouldn’t happen in a “U”SA where the academic institutions like that cesspool of idiocy in Massachusetts - Hampshire College – are too timid to risk offending anyone by allowing the American Flag (“Old Glory”) to be flown on campus so they banned flying her and any other flags from campus flagpoles. And many finally succeeded in driving the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) units off their campuses.

Not only that, but a whole bunch of the liberal academic cesspools in public education secondary schools (aka public high schools) have banned military recruiters from participating in campus career days.

No, tragically, today’s “U”SA is no more capable of fighting another World War Two – let alone 

winning it in four years – than it could fight its way out of a wet paper bag.

How badly we’ve decayed as a country. How far from greatness our once-great nation has fallen.

Hopefully the Good Lord and president-elect Donald Trump can begin turning things back around.

Be gone with ya’ll, Huck Finn and Atticus Finch! The revisionist historians are at it again and are legislatin’ ya’ll out’ve the libraries.

The headline read “Virginia school district suspends ‘The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn,’ ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ after complaint.”*

Apparently, the eggheads in a local Indoctrination Ministry (otherwise known as the public school system) have suddenly discovered that such period novels as Mark Twain’s “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” and Harper Lee’s “To Kill a Mockingbird” have that ‘N’word in them.

“WAVY-TV reports that a parent [as in one] voiced concerns over the books during a school board meeting earlier this month” [emphasis added].* That’s right; only one. But it’s enough to

 “Right now, we are a nation divided as it is,” the mother said in her complaint. “She tells the board that her biracial son, a high school student, struggled getting through a page that was riddled with a racial slur [emphasis added].” **

Really? Seriously? He couldn’t finish reading a page because there were racial slurs in the dialogue? So, maybe we should pull rap songs off of iTunes and radio stations cause when rap “artists” say the “N” word, the “B” word or call for the killing of cops in the lyrics to their “music” we could have minorities, women and cops hearing these songs driving or walking down the street struggling to walk or drive.

“The Virginia [school district] has temporarily suspended the use of [these] books while officials examine the issue. A committee that includes a principal, librarian and others will now review the books and make a recommendation to the superintendent.” A public school principal and librarian don’t really strike me as objective judges concerned with teaching historical period-correct vs politically-correct viewpoints.

But, sadly, the infection of political-correctness and fear of lawsuits has the whole world running scared anymore – to the point that this kind of stupid overreaction has become the norm rather than the exception to the rule. At the rate this decay is accelerating, pretty soon the public school system will be teaching that the Civil War was fought over a dispute in the minimum wage instead of States Rights or even slavery.

God help us.

A lesson in real world economics.

This little item is wonderfully precise at distinguishing between the conservative right, and the liberal left.  It is one of the very best examples I've ever seen at drawing the contrast.  Enjoy!  And happy holidays. Scratch that! Merry CHRISTMAS!

This is going round the internet and is really spot on. Keep in mind, it is not me saying this, I wish I was that fast on my feet. But whoever wrote it/spoke it is exactly right!

A guy looked at my Corvette the other day and said "I wonder how many people could havebeen fed for the money that sports car cost."

"I am not sure," I replied. "It fed a lot of families in Bowling Green, Kentucky who built it. 

It fed the people who make the tires, it fed the people who made the components that went into it, 

It fed the people in the copper mine who mined the copper for the wires, 

It fed people in Decatur IL, at Caterpillar who make the trucks that haul the copper ore. 

It fed the trucking people who hauled it from the plant to the dealer and fed the people working at the dealership

and their families. 

BUT,... I have to admit, I guess I really don't know how many people it fed."

That is the difference between capitalism and welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people's pockets, and give them dignity for their skills.  When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self worth.

Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value.  Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for.

Forrest Gump described Hampshire College's new flag policy perfectly.

Hampshire College, a a private liberal arts college in western Massachusetts, responded to a student protest of Donald Trump’s election whereat they allegedly burned a U.S. flag by…wait for it…banning the flying of any and all flags on campus. So, they promptly lowered the Stars and Stripes from any flagpoles on campus.

Overreact much, Hampshire College? Talk about throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

The last I looked, as wigged out as it has become since the Civil War, Massachusetts was still one of the 50 United States. But, apparently College President Jonathan Lash thinks they need to send “Old Glory” into time out as they “discuss what the flag represents to all members of our community.”

Say..what? Apparently President Lash thinks we’re apparently not the United States anymore. Apparently not united enough to be represented under one flag, anyway.

Is it just me or didn’t Massachusetts agitate until we had a war back in 1861 to force the nation to reunite back under that same flag?

In the rambling, wishy-washy and nearly incoherent statement president Lash issued November 18, he said “…we decided today that we will not fly the U.S. flag or any other flags on our college flagpole for the time being. We hope this will enable us in the near term to instead focus our efforts on addressing racist, misogynistic, Islamophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic, and anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and behaviors.”*

What the hell does flying the US flag on campus have to do with distracting their focus on anything? That flag’s flown been on flagpoles there and everywhere else in this country for generations.

And what about focusing on patriotism, civility and tolerance towards Christian viewpoints, and respect for our history, heritage, for liberty, the Constitutional Republic form of government we were established as? Oh; those aren’t politically-correct so we can’t address those things, I guess.

Lash babbles on, “I ask our campus to join me in a commitment to living up to the ideals of our mission: to insist on diversity, inclusion and equity from our leaders and in our communities; to constructively resist those who are opposing these values; and to actively and passionately work toward justice and positive change at Hampshire and in the world.”*

Lash and Hampshire obviously consider “insisting on… inclusion” to include anyone except those like patriots, Conservatives or Christians who were notably absent from the viewpoints he listed.

And what exactly he means by “insisting on… equity from our leaders and in our communities” to mean God only knows what in his confused, politically-correct skewed viewpoint.

It’s pretty obvious el presidente’ sees the removal of the U.S. flag from his campus flagpole to be “constructive resist[ance to] those who are opposing these values” and one helluva giant leap for mankind “towards justice and positive change” on his campus “and in the world.” Apparently the advancement of only politically-correct things are positive changes to el presidente’ Lash.

Forrest Gump said it best, “Stupid is as stupid does.”**

Now that I’ve raked the good college president over the coals pretty well here, I will say that this is still a free country and since they are a private college then they can pretty much exhibit their rights to do so as they see fit.

BUT, that river should flow BOTH ways.

As a taxpayer, I firmly believe that if Hampshire wants to ban displays of all flags including the flag of the United States of America, then the USA should be able to and very well should withhold any and all federal funding from Hampshire and its students including student loan money.

In doing so, then and only then would the scales of justice truly be balanced in this situation. Surely, President Lash would respect such restriction since he’s oh so concerned about “actively and passionately working towards justice…in the world.”

Algore in drag? Just go away why dontcha?

For crying out loud, the perpetual canker sore that is the Clintons just keeps on keepin’ on. Now the Hildabeast is crying foul claiming that she won the popular vote and therefore deserves the election.

Whether or not that’s true, the Electoral College vote went in favor of Trump and that’s based on outcome by state. Any graphic of the 2016 presidential vote count shows the entire U.S. to be almost completely covered in red (meaning the populations of almost all counties – parishes in Louisiana – cast Republican votes. That means they voted for Donald Trump not Hillary Clinton. Only the usual large liberal metro areas like Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, NYC, etc cast votes for Hillary.

And that’s without investigating all the alleged voter fraud so common in Chicago-style politics – the kind that brought Chicago machine candidate Barry Hussein Obama to the presidency.  So, at this point the people who are not eligible to vote for one reason or another (you know, like they’re dead, or they’ve already voted several times in this same election or they aren’t even legally entitled to vote but what the hell, they did anyway) have been investigated and eliminated.

And she’s crying foul? She’s demanding a recount or outright award of the presidency? This woman and her ilk (like her intern-molesting, cigar-stuffing, lying-under-oath husband) have absolutely no shame and will stop at nothing to try and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

All this has a real cheesy, recurring nightmare ring to it. Remember, it was her “husband’s” vice-president-turned-presidential-candidate Al Gore who whined and pitched a fit about the vote count which went against him – popularly and electorally – back in 2000 where he lost, not once, not twice, but three times by recounts and US Supreme Court decision (!) to George W. Bush.

So, spare us the “sour grapes,” Hillary. You lost. And your whining isn’t even original. It was worn out – completely – by your Party back in 2000.

And, you might be careful what ya wish for; you might get a vote investigation launched that would reveal illegal voting and other things you might not really want brought out into the sunshine.

But, I suspect that you and yours don’t really expect a real recount or a real upset victory to result from it. Rather, I’ve suspected since 2000 that the real agenda has been to destroy voter confidence in the American voting process. That way you can disenfranchise enough truly eligible voters that they either don’t show up at all or really don’t expect much substantively objective out of the voting process and as such aren’t really surprised when some corrupt Party hack is placed on the throne. That too has been worn out completely by every banana republic and dictatorship on the planet for decades.

If you were truly statesmanlike and presidential, “Mrs.” Clinton, you would accept that you lost not one but two elections you thought were victories for you for simply throwing your name onto the ballot. And if you were truly a statesman and of presidential material, you would then retire gracefully from politics.

Instead you just keep on whining, complaining and trying to prolong the agony you inflict on our country.

Message to Hollyweird, the music industry and the arts community; put a sock in it! We don't care adn we aren't paying for tickets to hear what you think.

'Hamilton' stars give Mike Pence a message

Look; I'm all for the First Amendment "right of free speech." I'm all for the ability to citizens to dissent all they want so long as it's within the law and within the rules of polite society.

But I, for one, would sure as hell love for all the actors, singers, artists and who knows what that make their living plying their arts for the public who pay good money to watch them act, sing, dance or view their paintings or sculptures to just shut the hell up about politics and world affairs.

I, for one, don't give a rip what they think about Republicans, Christians, Apartheid, saving the whales or any other political or social anything. I'm not paying for your CD, to see your movie or play or to see your paintings or sculptures just to hear your discontent about the world situation, the plight of the animal community, the influence of the Church on society or anything else.

So, shut up why don't ya? Just sing, dance, act, paint or sculpt and keep it at that. I don't buy a ticket to shove my opinions on you and I expect the same respect from you. I do not - let me reiterate that - I definitely DO NOT shell out money to see you ply your trade only to have you seize the bully pulpit and shove you views on things down my throat.

USN PO2 intell specialist refuses to stand for National Anthem

As our once-great country and its once-great culture continues to circle the drain, even more stupidness has sprung from the whole “Black Lives Matter” hysteria (as if ALL lives don’t matter).

Besides the idiotic rioting that’s come into vogue everytime a cop shoots a black suspect in the line of duty or a black suspect dies in police custody, we have black athletes acting like buffoons claiming racist American oppression just makes it impossible for them to stand in honor of the country during the National Anthem.

Yeah; the plight of those spoiled, whineybaby black pro athletes is just heartwrenching, ain’t it? I mean, gee; they live in a country where they’re carried around like Arab sultans, cheered on by an admiring public fan base and get paid multiple millions of dollars annually all to …wait for it…nothing more productive than simply playing a kids game!

Oh, the humanity! I mean, their lot is just pitiful. It’s just hard to undersand how they can take such terrible life conditions and such “keep ‘em down” income levels, these black athletes.

The hypocrites!

As if their hypocrisy wasn’t bad enough…now we have a black USN sailor – a 2^nd class Petty Officer (PO2) intelligence specialist – who claims she’s always felt “like such a hypocrite singing about the ‘land of the free’ when I know that only applies to SOME Americans. [She] will gladly stand again when ALL AMERICANS are afforded the same freedoms.”*

Really? Seriously? Who the hell does this woman think she’s kidding?

One outcome of the US Civil War/War of Northern Aggression/War Between the States was the permanent abolishment of slavery all across America.

Thanks to various landmark legal cases (Plessy v. Ferguson, Brown v. Topeka Board of Education, etc) ”Separate but equal” standards are no longer acceptable in anyway anywhere in America.

Unless you’re a minority, that is. Then, a reverse discrimination practice known as “Affirmative Action” have created separate but unequal & very preferential practice that gives minorities all kinds of preferential treatment in:

• Hiring,
• Education,
• Career advancement, etc.

So just who the hell is this black Navy woman think is being denied any freedoms?

Not only is anyone not being confined or enslaved, if a black person cannot get ahead in today’s America, then I purport that they’ll never be able to because of Affirmative Action and how the institutions in the country (banks that loan people money, employers who have jobs for people to do, schools who have students to teach and train, etc etc) tremble at the thought of being accused of racism and hence go out of their way to provide opportunity to minorities that they don’t strive so hard to provide non-minorities.

This young black Navy woman should feel instead like a hypocrite for having grown up in the greatest nation on the planet for being fertile with opportunity – opportunities for all people who are here – and making such a ludicrous statement as her protest explanation.

She should feel like a hypocrite for making such a dumb allegation about a country where its black and other minority citizens have more opportunities for economic support (welfare, food stamps, loans, grants, educational admittance, hiring and promotion etc) than their counterparts almost anywhere else in the world. (I wonder if she could tell us why, if America is such an oppressive place, so many immigrants come here?)

Hers is the kind of idiocy and life in the Moronosphere handout mentality that these liberal social policies have bred in our once-great culture and country. It’s sickening.

I hope those military officials who implement the Uniform Code of Military Justice throw the book at her and prosecute her to the full extent of the law – to the point she does hard time over this act of hypocrisy, stupidity and treason.

It’s September 11, Patriot Day. The day we remember those innocent victims of Islamic terror attacks on New York City and Washington, DC. It’s also a day when we remember and honor those first-responders who rushed in hoping to save others while everybody else rushed out trying to save their own lives.

But on this Patriot Day, we have idiots like the QB for the world’s largest outdoor insane asylum (San Francisco) Colin Kaepernick, Denver’s Brandon Marshall and now Kansas City Chiefs’ Marcus Peters all of whom have refused to stand for the National Anthem prior to their games.

"’I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,’ Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game.”* "’I'm against social injustice,’ Marshall said.”**  “’I’m just stating that I’m black and I love being black,’ Peters told reporters. ‘I’m supporting Colin (Kaepernick) and what he’s doing as far as raising awareness with the justice system.”***

In that case, I’ve got something to “state” to all you overpaid, pampered, spoiled black NFL players who think blacks are so oppressed in this country by racism and an unfair justice system: you think you’re so oppressed here in 21^st century America, MOVE OUT OF THE COUNTRY!

And, while you’re relocating, why don’t you go and try expressing your opinion in such “tolerant” countries as, oh…say, Saudi Arabia where you can be put to death for wearing a piece of jewelry with a cross on it, telling someone about Jesus Christ or otherwise NOT abiding by Islamic Law. **** 

Or perhaps you’d like living in Rwanda where 20% of the population - 70% of which was of one tribe’s bloodline (Tutsi) – was killed by another indigenous tribe (Hutu) simply for having an unpopular ancestry. *****

Maybe you find the North Korean justice system far more to your liking. In the 1990s, 3.5 million North Koreans died of simple starvation. When was the last time you knew of any of the so-called “oppressed” blacks you claim to be defending in this country were denied food stamps, welfare and/or housing assistance on the basis of their skin color? 

My bet is never! 

One doesn’t have to look very hard in this country to find evidence of reverse discrimination – you know; preference in hiring, promotions, college admission, student loans, small business loans and housing loans given because the applicants are of minority ethnicity.*****

Not only that, in several of these communities where you spoiled rabble-rousing football playing nitwits say blacks have been so abused by the justice system – specifically by law enforcement shooting black perpetrators – have been cities with black police chiefs and/or black mayors. And let’s not forget these cities are all in a country with a 2-term black president.

So, you pampered, overpaid whiney baby NFL players that feel the need to make names for yourselves protesting the national anthem of a nation you’re so convinced is oh, so oppressive and unjust can just pack your crap and get the hell out. And “don’t let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.”

And mark my words; racism will never be allowed to die. Because the likes of you and others like you know there’s power, money and all sorts of other advantages to be found by throwing the race card. So, no way you’re ever gonna let your biggest and best weapon ever go by the way side.

Like they told the hippies of the 1960s, “America; Love it or leave it.”

Keep the blame where the blame belongs.

The National Geographic Channel has been running some specials detailing the vicious crimes of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. These documentaries explored – in gory detail – the mass executions, the burying people alive, the physical and mental torturing and, lest we forget, his use of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) against not only his enemies in Iran, but also his own Kurdish citizens.

One in particular replayed videotapes taken by Saddam’s own henchmen of their physically beating Iraqi “dissidents” with rods, beheading them, breaking their arms and the list of atrocities goes on and on. At some point in the show an estimate of 300,000 executions took place during Saddam Hussein’s nearly 30 year reign of terror as the totalitarian leader of Iraq.

Of course, the narration of each documentary pointed out that the WMDs the United States was convinced Iraq had were never found. Liberals love to holler about this “false” premise for launching the Second Gulf War which ultimately led to Hussein’s arrest, trial and execution for his many crimes against humanity. Each of these documentaries insinuates this same accusation.

But, let’s examine a few related rumors before they try to ferment into facts.

Firstly, the U.S. didn’t just “think” that Hussein’s Iraq had WMD. Hussein himself had previously possessed such and previously used them. As mentioned above, he’d utilized them against Iran and against the Kurdish Iraqi citizens in the north of his country.

Secondly, even these very documentaries admit that in the early 2000s – when the whole post-9-11 world had a reason to fear global Islamic terrorism - Hussein had done a very effective job of making the whole world – particularly Hussein’s internal and external enemies – think he possessed WMD.

In other words, at the very least, Hussein was running a very convincing bluff.

Thirdly, many of the liberal politicians who later screamed their heads off about Bush’s justification for invading Iraq and toppling Hussein were…wait for it… earlier as equally convinced as Bush of Hussein’s possession of large stockpiles of WMD. That includes former NY Senator, former Secretary of State, now presidential candidate Hilary Clinton and former MA Senator, former presidential candidate, now Secretary of State John “Flip Flop” Kerry who “voted for it before he voted against it.”

Lastly, Bear in mind that even though these same liberals claim that Bush should’ve been impeached for launching the War on these false pretenses, they conveniently ignore that the Democrats were the majority in both the House and the Senate at that time and could’ve easily impeached Bush had there actually been legal grounds supporting such a charge.

The bottom line on this story is that Saddam Hussein was a brutal, vicious, probably damned psychopathic, oppressive dictator. He was running a bluff apparently holding only deuce-high nothing. He got his bluff called and was found to be holding nothing.

Do I lose sleep over that? Hell no. the world is far better off without such a vicious maniac terrorizing, brutalizing and slaughtering his own people as well as destabilizing an already terribly unstable region.

And I think we all should remember these points about Hussein’s history and keep the blame on him where it belongs.

Think long and hard oh you "Conservatives" who say your conscience "won't allow you to vote for Trump"

A few weeks ago, I was having lunch with a couple of friends when the dreaded topic of politics came up in conversation.

Considering these two are pretty conservative religiously, I didn’t figure they were going to be voting for Hillary Clinton. And I was right. What did stun me was that they weren’t going to vote for either candidate – Clinton OR Donald Trump.

Their logic was that their conscience would not allow them to cast a vote for someone as brash as Donald Trump.

Fast forward to tonight.

I’ve reflected on this conversation a lot since it happened. And I must say, I find that idea to be simple excuse-making for not bothering to vote to say the least and outright disgusting to say the most.

Why do I say this?Because:

• I fully believe that if such constitutional and religious conservatives stay home and refuse to vote, it guarantees the election to go to Clinton. And,
• It is as predictable as the start of the baseball season that a Clinton presidency would violate every single aspect of what true Americans – true Constitutional and religious Conservatives – hold near and dear to their hearts; expanded abortion rights, expanded gay, transgender and other deviant behavior rights, the end of the “the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed” as the Second Amendment to the US Constitution guarantees, just to mention a few atrocities.

So, my conscience compels me to say – with all due respect, mind you - to all who feel too highbrow, sophisticated, intellectually or morally superior to cast a vote for Donald Trump simply because he’s “the greater of two lessers” and the like; if you do stay at home and refuse to vote this election, then you are simply taking the easy and lazy way out. Not only that, but I tell you – yes, YOU! – will be as responsible for a Clinton victory and all the atrocities she commits on the American people as those liberals who willingly voted for her.

And after all she’s committed all those atrocities, then you may never again get the opportunity to vote in an American presidential election. That’s right. Voting for president as you’ve ever known it may very well have become a thing of the past much like it does in every other tinhorn dictatorship.

Why? Because her Supreme Court appointees added to the socialist clowns that make up the liberal majority of that bench could quite likely legislate the voter AND the checks and balance system right out of existence. And hence, your ability to “vote your morally superior (in your opinion) conscience will be history.

So, think long and hard before you boycott the voting booth this November.

I'm so disgusted by all the media coverage of Trump's "criticism" of the "grieving" Muslim parents who spoke during the DNC about their KIA army captain son.

The lefties are just lambasting Trump saying "don't be political with the "grieving" parents," blahblahblah. And of course, the media just lets them get by with it.

But, nobody seems to be recognizing that 1) The "grieving" parents MADE it political by 2) speaking at the DNC and in their speech 3) used the bully pulpit to criticize Trump.

Talk about “the pot calling the kettle black.” But then, hypocrisy is just SOP for the liberal left.

Klueless Tim Kaine - Hillary's organ grinder's monkey

Could Hillary Clinton’s vice-presidential running mate have made it any clearer that he’s an idiot than he did in the opening of his Convention acceptance speech?

“Here’s the thing. Most people, when they run for president, they don’t just say ‘believe me,’” Kaine said, mimicking Trump. “They respect you enough to tell you how they will get things done.”*

Hmmm. Let’s take that at face value, Mr. Kaine. Do you really think we’ve forgotten Obamanation’s never-ending vague campaign platitudes of “Hope” and “Change you can believe in?” I don’t remember a lot of specifics or detailed plans in anything Obama campaigned on.

Kaine’s inane commentary continued with his saying over and over how much he and fellow Democrats “trust Hillary.”** Really? You’re saying you trust a woman who’s over and over been proven to be a liar? If so, then you are telling me that you’re a gullible buffoon and not a statesman worthy of my vote.

But, Kaine just kept on with the self-inflicted verbal wounding by mocking Republican nominee Donald Trump. Mocking, mind you! Oh, that’s statesmanlike. (Rolls eyes). In childish tone, Kaine said Trump says, “Believe me.” It’s going to be great, believe me.”** To try that tactic is poor salesmanship, Mr. Kaine. As proof, I refer you back to:

• the Prince of Pap and Platitudes Obama who was elected president with such empty phrases as “Hope” and “Change you can believe in;” to say nothing of 
• Kaine's running mate Hillary who claimed she landed in Bosnia “under sniper fire.” Yet reporters who covered that trip stated that “far from running to an airport building with their heads down, Clinton and her party were greeted on the tarmac by smiling U.S. and Bosnian officials. An 8-year-old Muslim girl, Emina Bicakcic, read a poem in English. An Associated Press photograph of the greeting ceremony, above, shows a smiling Clinton bending down to receive a kiss.”**

And yet, you’re passionately going to believe her over Trump? Because she's believable? Really? Seriously?

Sure, says Kaine. He went on to say, “Let me tell you why [he] trusts Hillary Clinton. First, she’s consistent.” [Emphasis added.] Are you freaking kidding me? The only thing Hillary Clinton is consistent as is telling tall tales. For example, Bill Clinton got $12 million for his memoirs and Good Ol’ Hill got $8 million for hers. Both are people that have repeated claimed under oath that they can’t remember anything detailed about much of anything put to scrutiny. (See above re Bosnia sniper fire.)

Kaine’s ridiculously misguided praise continued with “As secretary of state, she implemented tough sanctions against Iran to pave the way for a diplomatic breakthrough to curtail a nuclear weapons program.” Firstly, there’s Hillary’s record of taking..shall we say, questionable…donations from middle eastern countries not exactly friendly to the US for unprecedented access to otherwise unaccessible people or votes. Secondly, the outright “rolling over” and letting Iran get unprecedented access to develop nuclear weaponry…oh, excuse me; liberals label that nuclear energy could hardly be called a “diplomatic breakthrough.” It would more accurately be termed a “diplomatic disaster.”

Kaine has full confidence that Hillary “will defend and build on Wall Street reform.” Yeah…right…. Hillary’s the same person who paid only $1,000 for 10 cattle futures (normal cost $12,000) & in only 10 months miraculously turned it into $100,000 (a nice round number).*** Hell! If she’s that brilliant at investing money she’s wasting her life in government service. You “trust” that kind of person to further reform Wall Street? {Not that Wall Street needs any reform, thank you.]

Kaine just couldn’t resist furthering his acute case of hoof and mouth disease. Next he took on Donald Trump’s tax returns. Again in playground mentality tones, he mocked, “’There is nothing suspicious and my tax returns, believe me.’ …does anybody in this massive auditorium believe that Donald Trump has been paying his fair share of taxes?”

Any liberal Democrat who wants to bring up the honesty behind a candidate’s tax returns either has an incredibly poor memory or extremely poor salesmanship technique – given the likes of tax cheat Timothy Geithner who was Obama’s first Secretary of the Treasury. (You remember the Treasury - the folks who enforce the tax laws?) Geithner failed to pay taxes he owed (even though he surely must have known he owed them) until it became politically expedient [read appointment to Obama’s Cabinet] to pay them.****

Apparently Klueless Kaine forgot that even the liberal LA Times had to admit “Democrats are hypocrites when it comes to paying taxes”in a 2009 article by that title. In that article, it was pointed out that current VP Joe Biden “only gave an average of $369 a year to charity over the previous decade” yet rails at Republicans and Conservatives as being to greedy to give.

And, apparently Kaine has also conveniently forgot that the rabble-rousing windbag Charles B. Rangel (Dem Rep. from N.Y.) who - it should be pointed out - was also chairman of that supreme tax-writing mob in the Washington, the House Ways and Means Committee, was under investigation for tax evasion. So much so, in fact, he had to take a temporary leave of absence from the committee while all this got “straightened out.”**** 

So, what was the outcome of Kaine’s ridiculously hypocritical commentary? The blue koolaide drinkers cheered him wildly. Not surprising. Those idiots would cheer a blind lobotomy patient for political office if they thought it meant more handouts and stealing individual liberties.

But to those of us truly thinking people, Kaine just comes across as another clueless liberal hypocrite that will tell a pack full of bald faced lies to anyone’s face they need to further their agenda. Just like an organ grinder's monkey will dance all he has to so he gets fed when the grinder stops.

The Next Time You Need a Cop, Call a ...

The stories are increasing in number –a Dunkin’ Donuts employee in Hartford, CT;an Arby’s in Pembroke Pines, FL; Chuck E. Cheese in Bowling Green, KY; Whataburger in Lewisville, TX; Starbucks in Philadelphia* and now at a Taco Bell in Phenix City, AL.** More and more fast food workers seem to be refusing to serve law enforcement officers.

Really? So, these young punks think they’re really making some kind of social statement by refusing service to those sworn and protect…. All this in the wake of that divisive, rabble rousing “Black Lives Matter” movement. (NOTE: Who the hell ever said they didn’t matter? But, one more time let me tell you that ALL lives matter! And…isn’t it interesting that in most every case at issue the black perp who got shot that started all this hysteria was involved in some kind of criminal activity right before dying at the hands of law enforcement? Coincidence? I think not. There's wisdom in the old saying that "if ya lie down wtih dogs ya get up with fleas." But, hell; why should facts and logic get in the way of mob psychology?)

So now these young fast food punks think that not only should they make a career type wage flipping burgers but now they also think they have the right to be rude and refuse to serve cops in uniform.

So, to those know-it-all punks refusing to serve cops because of their self-righteous indignation at law enforcement I say this; the next time your restaurant gets robbed or you wake up to the sounds of a burglar in your house or apartment or the next time you get carjacked, skip calling your local police or sheriff dept. Instead, whip out your cell phone and call your local Black Lives Matter activist. 

Maybe they’ll “protect and serve” you faster, better and more selflessly than your average law enforcement officer would.

I doubt they would. And something tells me that despite your looking down your nose at cops in your fast food restauratnt, you’ll still faster call a cop or sheriff and expect more protection and service from them than you will your local rabble rouser.

This is what you get when a community activist is elected president.

President of the United States Barry Obama, responding to last week’s horrific sniper attacks on Dallas, Texas police officers protecting a protest by “Black Lives Matter” activists, just couldn’t help returning to his community activist (aka "rabble rouser") roots.

Not that his implicit calls for stricter gun control laws is anything new. Hell, the sound of gunfire from a mass shooting has barely quieted and the gun smoke thinned before he starts beating that drum – every time. (“The President also made an implicit call for tighter gun restrictions, saying the carnage could have been mitigated if the killer or killers weren't carrying powerful weapons.”*)

And not that his condemnation of law enforcement is anything new. Hell, every time law enforcement shoots a black suspect or one dies in custody he’s instantly mouthing off about racist cops before he knows anything about the facts of the incident. (“After arriving in Poland in the early morning hours Friday, Obama went to his hotel and delivered a statement about two police-involved shootings this week, saying the episodes reflected persistent racial disparity.

“Citing statistics showing minorities are more likely to be pulled over, searched or shot at by police, Obama said it was incumbent on the country to aim for better -- including recognizing deep-seated biases that he said must be ‘rooted out.’

“…right now, the data shows that black folks are more vulnerable to these kinds of incidents. There is a particular burden that is being placed on a group of our fellow citizens."*)

That’s the kind of “leadership,” “crisis management” and “conflict resolution” you get when you elect a community activist President of the United States.

Can liberal hypocrisy be any more obvious?

Liberals love to get their backs in the air anytime they feel someone with opposing values is - as they like to phrase it - forcing their values onto others. They're quick to get all bent outta shape about someone's religion, morality and certainly politics when it disagrees with theirs. And, heaven forbid, a person actually voice an opinion on those issues they disagree with then liberals usually have a complete coniption fit about that person being perceived as forcing their beliefs on others.

But, of course, with liberals, it's only supposed to be allowed to go one way - their way. 

Take for example this obituary that was published recently in the local newspaper. Imagine what said dead liberal would think if they were to read an obit by someone espousing Christianity, Conservativism, the Republican Party platform, marriage as one man one woman or some such opinions that they disagreed with? Oh, there'd be hell to pay, I'm sure.

[Their] condition was undoubtedly aggravated by the catastrophe known as [Kansas Governor] Sam Brownback and [Secretary of State] Kris Kobach. [Deceased]  was born [whenever to whoever]... [Deceased] started working as a...teacher, [and became a spouse and parent]. .... [Deceased] also contributed to Radiating the Stone, an anthology of essays from Wichita's greatest feminists. Above all, [Deceased] loved [family members], ...wine, liberal politics, good food, friends, all things sports (especially tennis), and MSNBC. Our biggest regret is that [Deceased] won't witness the inauguration of our first female president..... Long ago [Deceased] wrote that [Deceased] didn't want [their] family to hide that [Deceased was gay]. Luckily the world has changed since [deceased] wrote those notes. Gay marriage is the law of the land. We have a long way to go, but [Deceased] was right: there is no shame in being LGBT! Not that such a blatant political statement thinly disguised as an "obituary" would be "forcing one's beliefs onto others" or anything, huh? Could the hypocrisy of liberals be any more obvious?

In the  midst of all the angst of the political season, you’ve got to keep a sense of humor too!   This made me smile when I got it in an email….. So, I'm sharing it with you.

George Orwell predicted it....

The headlines read “FBI recommends no charges against Hillary Clinton [for her use of a secret email server to conduct government business].”

In that same announcement, FBI Directory James Comey acknowledged that:

·        She was “extremely careless” in her use of that secret email server while serving as United States Secretary of State.

·        “More than 100 email chains Mrs. Clinton was part of contained information that was classified at the time she sent or received it, and thousands of other messages have since been ‘up-classified.’ 

·        “Her lawyers didn’t even read every message when deciding which ones they deemed work-related.

·        “He and his investigators found no evidence Mrs. Clinton intentionally tried to mishandle classified information, and he said they could find no other situations where a successful case had been made against someone in a similar situation.”

Are they serious? Sadly, yeah; they are. This is just more of the decay and corruption that has infested the United States government of the past 24 years – since her “husband” first occupied the Oval Orifice.

“[Comey] said those who behave like Mrs. Clinton often face administrative sanctions from their employers, or lose security privileges. But since she’s ”out of office now, neither of those alternatives is available in her case.” Sooooooo, do ya think that her conduct should render her ineligible to serve as….oh, I don’t know; President of the United States? An office she is currently the Democrat Party’s candidate for ? A position in which, if she wins, she most definitely WILL have to have a security clearance for!

As for not finding any evidence that Hillary Clinton intentionally mishandled classified documents, whatever happened to “Ignorance of the Law Is No Excuse?” And you’re telling me that in the Uniform Code of Military Justice or U.S. Federal Law, there are “no other situations” where a serviceperson was not dishonorably discharged and/or sent to Leavenworth for sloppy handling of classified materials?

In his announcement this morning, Director Comey said, “Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case. …. To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences.” Really, then why doesn’t Hillary Clinton have to face consequences for her actions then? This is fair and equal justice for all?

Oh, but I forgot; we’re talking about the Clintons and where the Clintons – both Bill and Hill – are concerned, George Orwell said it best in his book Animal Farm; “ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL,
BUT SOME ANIMALS ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS.”

In the 1972 movie, “1776,” and the musical that was its inspiration, there is an dispute in the Continental Congress about referring to Britain’s King George III as a “tyrant.”

Delaware’s John Dickinson moved that any reference of George III as a "tyrant" removed from the Declaration.

Thomas Jefferson: Just a moment, Mr. Thomson. I do not consent. The king is a tyrant whether we say so or not. We might as well say so.

Charles Thomson: But I already scratched it out.

Thomas Jefferson: Then scratch it back in!

John Hancock: Put it back, Mr. Thomson. The King will remain a tyrant.

Today we celebrate the American Revolution's declaring the American Colonies’ independence from Great Britain. Our forefathers rejected the following imposed on them by Britain:

• The Stamp Act which imposed on the American Colonists “Taxation without representation.”
• The Coercive Acts, among other things, made British officials immune to criminal prosecution in America.
•  The Tea Act in 1773, a bill designed to save the faltering East India Company by greatly lowering its tea tax and granting it a monopoly on the American tea trade. 

Well, let’s see where we stand now on these items 240 years downstream of declaring independence:

•       America is taxed to hell and back with what has deteriorated into all but a sham of representation of the common man in Congress it has gotten so corrupt and self-serving.
•       It seems that certain American officials are now immune to criminal prosecution in America –

o   Barry Obama was accused by Senator Ted Cruz, the Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on The Constitution, Civil Rights and Human Rights, of 76 illegal acts in his presidency to date.

o   Bill & Hillary Clinton (abuses of power – using the IRS and FBI as weapons against political opponents, lying under oath – hell; lying like rugs about anything & everything, attempts to loot taxpayer-funded items from the White House, Travelgate, Chinagate, Filegate and Pardongate and who could forget Hillary’s 9,987% profit in just nine months on cattle futures because of a highly placed connection at Tyson Foods, which – “coincidentally” was the largest employer in Arkansas and a BIG Clinton donor.  To say nothing of her alleged illegalities regarding accepting inappropriate contributions from foreign nations and her sloppy email security when she was Secretary of State.)

o   And let’s not forget Al Sharpton’s and former Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s  unresolved tax troubles.

Anyone want to place any bets that any one of these individuals will prosecuted on any of these things? Anyone want to place any bets that if any one of us commoners were to do any one of these things we’d get the same treatment in the law that these individuals have received?

And while we’re not being forced to quarter troops in our own homes (3^rd Amendment of Bill of Rights) or rescinded the right of trial by jury, we certainly have seen:

• assaults on religious freedom and free speech (1^st Amendment of Bill of Rights),
• assaults on the citizenry’s right to keep and bear arms (2^nd Amendment, which states literally states “shall not be infringed.” Apparently somebody forgot to tell the Democrat Party about this).
• Every man, woman and child traveling as a paying passenger on an airliner these days continue to have their rights under the 4^th Amendment of the Bill of Rights constantly pummeled by being forced to take off their shoes and subject themselves to being x-rayed and illegally molested by TSA officials at the airport
• The citizenry is not to be deprived … liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation. Yet we’ve seen all kinds of violations of due process – the latest being the liberals’ latest idea to deny anyone who finds themselves on the “no fly” list with the ability to “keep and bear arms.” And should that be enacted, just what protection does one have from being declared a “security risk” merely for disagreeing with the liberal agenda? And Lord knows the EPA and “imminent domain” have done more than their share of denying property without truly “just” compensation. (5^th Amendment)
• And, just exactly how much did Nakoula Basseley Nakoula “enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense” as provided by the 6^th Amendment of the Bill of Rights for his alleged crime of producing a supposedly anti-Islam video that Hillary Clinton et al tried to blame for her tragic and fatal fiasco in Benghazi, Libya in 2012?
• And how does the infatuation with applying Sharia Law in US Courts – like the city council of Dearborn, Michigan which voted 4-3 to become the first US city to officially implement all aspects of Sharia Law – square with the 7th Amendment of the Bill of Rights which states that civil trials in any court of the United States, shall be decided according to the rules of the common law? Furthermore, how does it square with Bill’s 8th Amendment which prohibits cruel and unusual punishments – you know, like stoning, beheading, hands cut off and the like? Answer: It doesn’t.
• And, let’s take a look at how the Federal courts – the Courts of Appeals and the Supreme Court being the most glaring examples – abuse the living hell out of the 10th Amendment to the Bill of Rights which states “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” Has the 9^th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court declarations that properly state legislated and/or voted on laws against illegal immigration, healthcare and gay marriage (just to mention three examples) been properly reserved to the States or the people therein? Answer: Not no, but hell no. If a state passes a law the liberal tyrants don’t agree with, the federal courts just rule it unconstitutional.

In light of such abuses to the Bill of Rights, it’s sadly obvious that we’re living in the midst of a tyranny just as devious and oppressive as that of King George III just by different means.

So what do you think? Personally, I can’t help but think General William Tecumseh Sherman said it best when he said, “You politicians have gotten us in a hell of a fix….”***

Another step towards Sharia Law in London?

The Muslim mayor of London, England – yeah, that’s right; the capital city of Merry Old England now has a Muslim chief executive - called for a ban on ads showing women in bikinis in the city’s subway stations and trains (aka “The Tube”).

Hizzoner Da Mayor claims that he’s doing it to reduce pressure on people – particularly women – who may feel stressed because they have less than perfect bodies compared to those shown in the ads. “No one's confidence or body image should be undermined by ads on our transport system,” tweeted London Mayor Sadiq Khan. “Adverts which put Londoners under pressure over body image are to be banned from the Tube and bus networks.”*

However, his critics wonder if this isn’t a subtle but major first step towards further installing Sharia Law in the United Kingdom as recently, advertisements featuring bikini-clad models were spray painted over in England’s city of Birmingham. Birmingham has a high Muslim population - 21.85% in 2011.**

What is equally amazing – and possibly alarming - is how little coverage the politically-correct United States media has given this “interesting” development. They’re much too busy trying to blame the 2^nd Amendment for the recent domestic terror attack committed by a Muslim wherein he slaughtered 49 unarmed people inside a nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

Ronnie Dunn is right.

The illogic and stupidity of the anti-gun narrative is as obvious as daylight – except to the likes of Barry Obama and Hillary Clinton and their ilk.

But of course, gun control isn’t REALLY about guns at all. It's all about more governmental control over the masses. And THAT is the breeding ground of despotism, tyranny and oppression.
